Economy Diode

The high performance and reliability of the lasers is based on a short resonator, which enables excellent beam quality and therefore sharp and accurate marking on metals, plastics, ceramics and other materials. The lasers are equipped with thermoelectric air cooling, which does not require maintenance-prone air/water or water cooling and saves the user costly maintenance work and downtime.

The system is a laser protection class 4 solution. ACI also offers all laser systems with various protective housings for laser protection class 1 operation. This means that the laser systems can be used as a manual workstation or as an integration element in an automated system.

Software

The laser system is controlled using our in-house Magic Mark laser software. It enables the marking of workpieces with text, graphics, codes (DataMatrix codes, barcodes), serial numbers and logos. It can also be used to apply circumferential marking to rotationally symmetrical components without using an attachment. Intelligent rights management supports the creation of different operator groups. This allows the laser system to be adapted to the respective user requirements. Fully automatic operation with data exchange to various data sources is easily possible when used in automated production lines. The functions of Magic Mark can optionally be extended using plug-ins such as the code or script module.

Functional safety

All laser systems are equipped with a safety device (SD) certified to EN ISO 13849 in accordance with the requirements of functional safety, thus guaranteeing the user the highest possible protection against malfunctions and a safe condition of their laser system. (EN 13849 PLe Cat. 4).

Applications

When marking a product or component, the aim is to create a marking that is permanent, high-contrast and high-resolution. In addition, the material should only be subjected to minimal stress or have its properties altered. These requirements are optimally met by the Economy Diode series laser systems.
