The product discontinuation process is also part of a product’s life cycle. But what does product discontinuation actually mean? When a product is discontinued, it means that after a long period of reliable use, it will no longer be actively developed or produced. The reasons for this are usually technological advances or the limited availability of certain components from suppliers.

What should I do if my laser system is affected?

If your system is a discontinued product, we recommend that you contact our sales team as soon as possible. Together, we will analyze your application, plan the transition and present you with a suitable successor solution - individual, efficient and future-proof.

Why is a product discontinued?

Due to technical developments and the limited availability of certain components from suppliers, we are replacing selected systems and modules with modern successor solutions after many years of reliable use.

How does ACI inform about a product discontinuation?

We will inform you transparently and in good time about upcoming product discontinuations on this page - usually with sufficient lead time to enable planning, technical clarification and a smooth transition to a suitable successor solution.

Can I continue to use my existing system?

Yes, in principle, existing systems can continue to be operated. However, we recommend checking the medium-term availability of spare parts and support and planning the changeover with our sales team at an early stage.

Are spare parts or repair options still available?

We will continue to offer spare parts and services as long as they are available. However, due to delivery difficulties or discontinuations by our suppliers, this cannot be guaranteed. We therefore recommend changing systems in good time - please contact our sales team.

Will ACI support me with the changeover?

Yes - our sales team is on hand to advise you. Together, we will analyze your existing application and find a successor solution that fits technologically, economically and functionally.
