ACI Laser launches new Workstation Professional – Next Generation
22.09.2026

On September 15, 2026, the Workstation Professional – Next Generation celebrated its official product launch at the AMB in Stuttgart. With intelligent axis control, a new precision axis system, and flexible configuration options, the completely redesigned laser station opens up new possibilities for industrial laser marking.
A new generation for demanding marking tasks
Whether it’s changing components, complex labeling tasks, or recurring manufacturing processes: In day-to-day production, precision, reliable processes, and ease of use are what matter most. This is exactly where the Workstation Professional – Next Generation comes in.
With the official product launch at the AMB in Stuttgart, ACI Laser unveiled the next generation of its proven laser station. The completely redesigned appearance immediately catches the eye. However, the key innovations become apparent when working with the system: in precise setup, flexible configuration, and daily production operations.

Intelligent Axis Control: Precision Meets Dynamics
Setup requires precise movements, whereas production operations demand speed. The intelligent axis control of the new Workstation Professional – Next Generation combines both requirements.
In slow-motion mode, positions can be approached with precision and control. Performance mode, on the other hand, enables fast axis movements for dynamic machining processes. Together with the new precision axis system, this lays the foundation for precise positioning and high repeatability—even for demanding marking tasks.
Flexible equipment for a variety of manufacturing requirements
Whether you’re working with larger workpieces, cylindrical components, or varying marking tasks, the Workstation Professional – Next Generation can be tailored to meet a wide range of requirements. An optional motorized Y-table expands the marking area, while an additional rotational axis enables the marking of cylindrical workpieces.
Various workpiece holders and vision systems offer additional options for adapting the laser station to the specific manufacturing process. Future expansions have also been taken into account: Standard side openings on the left and right provide space for optional attachments or material feed-throughs.
The Workstation Professional – Next Generation, complete with a base frame, forms a standalone laser workstation. Alternatively, it is available as a tabletop model. For applications requiring more space, the Workstation Professional XL is available with an expanded work area.

Greater ease of use and safety in day-to-day production
The Workstation Professional – Next Generation has also been further enhanced for daily use. The electric door facilitates access to the work area, while the large laser safety window and the integrated interior lighting ensure a clear view of the workpiece. An adjustable monitor arm also allows the screen to be positioned to suit the operator.
To ensure reliable operation under industrial conditions, the laser station is equipped with a robust metal enclosure. The protective enclosure allows the integrated laser system to operate in accordance with Laser Class 1. The system design is complemented by a certified safety concept in accordance with Performance Level e (PL e).
